  • What classes are offered this month?
    Please view our Schedule page, or Book Classes page for upcoming classes. When selecting your class, please read the full class descriptions to ensure you are eligible for the class you would like to sign up for. If you are not sure what classes/level is suitable for you, please fill out our Petition form.
  • How do I know which classes to take?
    For all classes, please read the full class descriptions to ensure you are eligible for the class you would like to sign up for. In addition, please view our Curriculum page. If you are not sure what classes/level is suitable for you, please send us a message or email us at: hello@zoukoc.com Level 1 - Intro If you are a new or beginner level dancer, we recommend you start at the Introductory level. The reason why we recommend beginners to start at this level is because the level of detail you will receive in this (and all of our classes) is very high and the class sizes are small so you will receive personal feedback on the details that make your dance polished. This level will set you up with the best foundation possible for other classes. Level 2 - Fundamentals Must have completion of Level 1 classes: Zouk From Zero (Open Holds) AND Zouk From Zero (Close Holds) Level 3 - Variations Please message us for approval before joining the class if you have not met the prerequisite classes listed on the class description. Level 3 requires completion and test out of level 2.
  • Do I need a partner or previous experience?
    No, you do not need a partner or previous experience. Our signature "Zouk From Zero" Intro level classes are the perfect place to begin and are offered every Tuesday. Students rotate to dance with everyone in the class! If you do not feel comfortable rotating, you can let your instructor know.
  • How many students are in each class?
    Our Level 1 and Open Level classes are not limited in capacity. Our Level 2 and Level 3 classes are limited to 8 leaders and 8 followers max to ensure individual feedback & attention!!
  • What do I need to bring?

  • What happens if I miss a class?
    For those who must miss a class, we have a few options to make sure you don’t fall behind: For each progressive class you are enrolled in, you will receive access to weekly recap videos. Whether you miss class or not, we recommend you review the detailed weekly recap videos to get the most out of your learning. At the beginning of each class, we review what we learned the previous week! So if you check the recap you will be familiar with the material we will review. Class sizes are limited capacity, giving you the ability to receive one-on-one feedback during that review time and practice so you can get it right!   • Can I re-take a class and/or take multiple classes at once?
    YES and YES! The level of detail in each class is enough to understand it the first time, but really internalize the juicy details the second or third time. It is actually highly encouraged to repeat courses in order to achieve the material at your highest potential and we offer discounts through our membership options. As long as you meet the prerequisite to take the class/ classes you wish, you are welcome to take more than one class offered at once!
  • How do I join a waitlist?
    Class sizes are limited in most classes. If the class you wish to join is not available at this time or full you can join the waitlist through our mobile app. *Please read the full class description to ensure you are eligible and the class level is suitable for you.
  • Can I get a refund?
    ❗ Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate requests for refunds, transfers, class credits, or rollovers in the event of non-attendance after class purchase. We understand unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we hope for your understanding of our policy, which helps us maintain the integrity of our services. We genuinely appreciate your understanding and support. ❌ For All Purchases: NO REFUNDS. No exceptions. 👉 For Memberships: This membership shall automatically renew for an additional 4-week terms unless either party submits a termination notice at least 1 day before the end of the current term. 👉 For Private Lessons: Validity period - Lessons booked must be completed within the validity term for the respective package booked. Reschedule/ Cancellation - Please note that once you have booked an appointment with me it means that I have reserved time in my schedule exclusively for you. If you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the service rate booked. If you miss your appointment without any notice, 100% of the service booking rate applies. To avoid a cancellation fee, please reschedule your lesson at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. You can reschedule on your personal My Bookings page by viewing upcoming and past bookings. Each of the upcoming bookings has a Reschedule option to make these changes. *If Christina Montoya cancels an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a new appointment will be scheduled without penalty to the student, subject to availability.
